Knitting, puzzles and beautiful tropical blooms..... Life is good. Plus, I'm ahead in the backgammon tournament.
But the best thing of all............ Two weeks ago, we had the opportunity to register online at the Montrose Public Health site. On Sunday they emailed us our appt time. And today was OUR DAY !! They are doing 60 / hour and we were in and out in 35 min, including wait time after for reactions. And on the back of the card is our appointment for #2 dose..... Feb 11. We are beyond happy and so totally pleased with Colorado and Governor Polis and especially, our local health dept for the efficient, informed and organized approach to the vaccine. And while we waited for the required 15 min after, we had a chance to catch up with our friends and neighbors. Here's hoping that all of you who want it can get it ASAP.
And now, we can get out the calendar........
Great news! Yes, it seems Colorado is doing a super job and we hear of more and more people we know getting their vaccines. We're in the 1B list, so still waiting.

We are still waiting...after two weeks of the Health Dept. online system, that kept crashing due to volume, they now have one that you can sign up and they will contact you/us...duh..the other site was to select a date from the available dates on a calendar...well, you can see why that kept crashing. We are waiting patiently (well, hubby not so much! HA)..hubby is 81 and I just turned 74 so we are next in line...I too am knitting and of course still playing with my online class/projects/mono printing/etc.! Glad you're doing well and I love seeing the deer in your previous post! Sure hope they don't build!!
ReplyDeleteI got my first shot and will get second on Feb.11. Delaying our trip to FL until we all have our second shots. Going down on Feb.20 instead of Jan. 31 as first planned.
ReplyDeleteCT is also very organized. Went to Danbury Hosp.and was in and out in 30, including 15 minute wait after.
Love that Bird of Paradise bouquet to brighten up a winter day. It reminds me of CA. Glad you got your first vaccine. Travel won't be as scary after you have that protection.
